Was fishing early Sunday on Thistle Lake above Thistle Chutes and heard a helicopter circulating for about 5 hours back and forth over the Ragged Chute/Bridge Rapids area of the Lower Temagami above River Valley. Talked to the owners of the cabin on Thistle Chute and he also was concerned by the activity but had not heard anything. Hopefully it's not someone who ran the chutes but had little experience. Seemed odd as this was early 7-11am in the morning on a Sunday. Hopefully was just someone doing some research vs search and rescue but hard to shake that feeling somehow..Back in Ottawa now but thought I would check with people in the know.
