......whoever you are....for doing the portage maintenance on the portage into Sirdevan from Three Knob. It would have been a miserable time but for your efforts. The walking bridges you put in were labelled "AS NL '08" and they worked like a charm.

They were MNR's backcountry rangers. Pretty impressive work. And few people know. Do you have a photo?
Here's an agency normally under a dark cloud of criticism, and it does nothing to tell us the good things it does. |

No photos.......was lucky just to slog it through and wasn't really thinking about pics at that point.
I can attest that it would have been awful if you had to do it with a canoe on your shoulders if you didn't have them there. |
