Anyone know what this access road is like late April? Cedar Lake Road into Algonquin Park can be hit or miss early in the season with trees down. Before I start the 8 hour tour up there I thought I'd see if anyone might know. My map has that road stopping just past Montreal River so its not like its used alot unless there is a haul in progress or something. |

I would expect any bush road to be iffy at best near ice-out. Mushy with wash-outs. |

Road is good so far and was passable last week. Big water still froze but creeks and rivers openning up. Area portages maintained last year and road was recently improved with more planned. Parking security is good due to being off the beaten trail. I'm good to go! |
