Here's an exerpt from an email I received today, advising that the Portelance Road will be impassable for the month of June: a concern for anyone trying to arrange a car shuttle into the Sturgeon River.

Please be advised that the Bailey Bridge located in Fraleck Twp. at mileage 23 of the Portlance Road will be closed for repairs for the month of June 2010.

A notice should probably be posted on the featured article titled "Climbing Ishpatina Ridge" posted prominently on the Temagami Homepage here.
Otherwise anyone following that map will be very disappointed.
