Starting to plan a canoe trip for end of August. I am looking at a few different options but I am interested in starting off our route just north of Lake Obabika (Route 2) and then taking it all the way to Diamond lake to Route 4 around Devil's perch and then going south on Route 4 until I connect to Route 1 via Red Cedar to Thistle/Island Lake where friends have a cottage.
Anyone have an estimate of how long this could take with a medium's day canoe and portage every day? Interested in anyone who has done something similar to this route and their experience.
