Exhausted and awed ... will try to post trip report .. One quick note .. we ran out of water between Backdoor and Mudding ... water levels pretty impossible ... 
Gotta thank a lot of people on this board for their help ... ed, brian, fireman, curly, otter_mel, preacher, and others .. a great community ..

Yellowcanoe, I'm looking at my map and it shows a port of 300m between Mudding Lake and Backdoor Lake? Could you not find the port start on Backdoor? |

That's mostly correct. We could actually see it; my son climbed on ridge down the river on the right, and spotted it. The problem was, we couldn't reach it. |
