Thinking about heading up to the Sturgeon River in the next few days...
Then it occurred to me: the Portelance Road was scheduled to be closed during the month of June.
Anyone know if the work has been completed and the road is open again? |

sorry, can't help you with the road issue, but out of curiosity, what is your planned route .. how many days? |

I've got about 6 days to kill before I leave on a 10 day sea kayaking trip on Lake Superior, so I was thinking of heading up to the Sturgeon and do some exploring in that area - maybe try and retrace some old nastawgan...
No real trip plan, just go wherever the wind takes me.
But if the road is still out, I may head to another part of Temagami instead. |
