My husband and I are doing a trip through Wolf Lake, Sturgeon River, Halleck, Laura Lake. Wondering how the water levels are doing now? Thanks! |

I flew over Wolf L. yesterday it looks to be normal, however Dewdney L. which is just north of Wolf is very low and it's not a controlled lake to my knowledge, there seems to be no ryhme nor reason to a lot of the lake levels this year. |

shmerm, I was on the Sturgeon between Stouffer and Ghoul in June, and water levels were fine. |

It seems to me that water levels are normal with a few exceptions. Not just in Temagami, but most other places in Ontario as well. Hopefully all our fears from 3-4 months ago did not come true. Spring in APP we had normal water levels. I was in QE2W last weekend and they have record high water, cottagers had to raise their docks. Are the low waters only being reported on hydro controlled waters? |

Great news about the Sturgeon! That's what we were concerned about (i.e., following advice from trip notes). Thanks, ya'll. shmerm |

From other places I've inquired, it sounds like the further N you go the worse it gets. Reports from record high water to record low water, with the lows starting around North Bay latitude. |
