Continuing to think of potential routes. Been a long time since we did this one last (1998 I think) How are water levels on the Lady Evelyn river this year, particular from Duff to MacPherson? |

The water levels on the Lady Evelyn River are lower than I have ever seen them. However, we just got back from a trip from Florence Lake down the North Channel of the river and the lower levels did not in any way compromise travel. In fact, some of the landings seemed easier in lower water. It remains a truly lovely route! The water levels in Lady Evelyn proper are stunningly lower, however. Again, this did did not impact paddling but the aesthetics were a little off. Happy paddling! |
