I am doing an 8 day canoe trip and I will be going thru the Wawiagashi, Manitou, Turtleshell, Gull Lake and Skunk lake loop before heading down to Cross Lake via Temagami and then Red Cedar.
Can anyone tell me if these lakes have good trout fishing. Lakers and brook trout. Any lakes we can portage to in the vicinity that do? I realize there is quite a bit of pike, walleye and bass along this path but I am particularly interested in brook trout? Any help much appreciated.
