Hi All,

great forum, very good info.
I am planning to start a trip next week. Our planned route is Route # 7 from the Temagami canoe routes map, called the Snare and Jackpine Creek Loop.

Any thoughts on that route in particular.

All advice is appreciated!

I should also add, if this route is no good would you mind suggesting anything else.

we are paddling from a sunday-saturday.

We would like to experience temagami the best we can, and we'd like to do a loop.

I have not done this particular route, so I am not the best person to advise you, but I would think it would be a difficult choice for this very dry season in view of the many creeks you need to travel on.
You may want to consider taking a lake route with fewer creek portages on it.

Others here may have some advice and suggestions.

My brother and I changed our trip on Jackpine creek this spring due to the concern of the water level... Canoed all of Temagami Lake.. Not sure what was worse..hahaha
