Perhaps you could tell us what your planned route is from Sucker Gut to Lake Temagami and then we may be able to help you.

Bear Island to town PADDLE ! 1/2 the time it will be a tailwind and you can sail.. the other.. well ! lol Otherwise you'd have to arrange for a water taxi. |

I assume you are flying into Sucker Gut using a rental canoe? Going from Sucker Gut to Willow Island and then to Lady Evelyn Lake would imply that you are going up and down the Lady Evelyn River. Is that correct? Or are you going south from Sucker Gut to Willow Island and then crossing over to Lady Evelyn Lake via a short chain of lakes? The river route would add on a couple days. The crossover route would be less than 6 days and you could easily paddle back to the Town of Temagami as Irishfield has pointed out. It might be best to leave a vehicle at the end of the Central Access road and arrange to get over there from Bear Island. Are you renting a canoe from the store at Bear Island? |

If that's the case and you don't want to paddle to town.. just get Dean to pick you and HIS canoe up on Bear Island... but it won't be cheap. |

End your trip at the Central Access road and either stash a vehicle there or pre-arrange for a road shuttle to take you back to town.. |

At least half a day, depending on wind and paddling speed... I would plan for 3/4 day to paddle to town. |

I think you are asking about campsites shown on a Chrismar map? If so, I never use their maps. Too many errors. |
