i can't wait for august ! firstly thank you fireman i think we have got a plan now ! Bush pilot if you want a bed while in scotland please get in touch we always love meeting like minded people.be prepared for rain ! Fireman i probably know those scots guys you met !ok last question, what outfitter would you recommend, the nearest to Red Squirrel i guess ? many thanks everyone for all the great advice . Rona |

Not sure if Wanapitei still rents canoes, but if so, they are located in Ferguson Bay and you could can drive to them via the Red Squirrel Road if you have rented a car. Smoothwater is located a bit north of Temagami on James Lake and there is Temagami Outfitters located in Temagami right across from the Train Station if you plan to travel to Temagami by Train.

Wanapitei does not rent canoes any longer (unfortunately). They only offer full outfitted excursions. |

thats useful info re wanapitei, as i have being trying to contact them. we will rent a car from toronto airport and drive north so i guess Temagami outfitters is the best bet, then we can drive right to Ferguson bay. |
