I am trying to get some information regarding the long portage from the south end of Graymud Lake into Makobe Lake? I am planning a trip down the Makobe River in early June...I have taken this trip many times, but never gone into Makobe Lake by this southern route. I see on the Nastawgan map there is also a portage into Makobe from the top of Graymud, any info on that?

If no one answers here, give Ontario Parks in Temagami a call. 705-569-3205. After 5 years, their backcountry maintenance crews will have cleaned out every portage they intend to clean out in the parks. |
