Planning a trip through Upper and Lower Redwater lakes. Anyone know if there are any cottages/hunt camps or boat traffic on those lakes? Anyone have any comments on the fishing through there? We will have a couple of kids with us that would love to catch some fish. Any knowledge or advice on the area would be greatly appreciated! |

I've not paddled there, but have gone by on train. There are a few hunt camps/cottages at the old railway ghost town. I suspect the lakes are pretty quiet except when the train comes through, which is only about 2x a day. |

Thanks Curly! We always like to see different lakes but with only 2 days to paddle it can make it a little challenging to give the kids a sense of Wilderness. I don't think a couple of trains will bother us. |
