Hello Everyone,
I am new to the forum and was hoping to get some help from people having first hand knowledge of the Liskeard Lumber road.
I am planning a canoe trip into Lady Evelyn - Smoothwater for the week of May 15 and plan on starting at Gamble Lake. How is the road up until this point, well maintained, driveable with 2wd with caution, or 4wd a must?
I have a 2wd Toyota Matrix which has a fair amount of clearance for a small car, please bear in mind that I have driven it in places where I've seen pickups turn around. I don't mind driving slowly.
