I am hopeing to use the Goulard Road to access Obabika Lake in mid May. Would it be passable with a Ford Escape? Has anyone been up there this year? |

Is the gate you are talking about, the one for the park entrance, or is there a gate blocking all of Goulard Road? |

The former Goulard logging camp, between Goulard road and Wawiagama Lake. |

ok, well thats where the gate is,so youll be alright. as for the road ,the mud is really deep right now, lots of high rocks, i was stuck for an hour by myself on this road 2 days ago. so you might want to wait for it to dry up a bit more before attempting it. also there is still ice on the lake as of today, but it should be gone in the next couple of days.hope this helps. |

Travelled the area today and seems to be drying up. Ice is gone but river is still high. Hoping to get some trail work done in the next couple of weeks. |
