Hi there. Planning to head back to Temagami this summer in early August. We will be a party of three. I heard a friend did a fly-in trip and followed the sturgeon river and paddled out through lake Temagami. I am not sure what route he took. But I wanted to know what lake you fly in to -- and what is the best route that doesnt involve more than Class I rapids. And how long does this trip take?

Thanks

Depends on where you start. But the route would have taken the Obabika River upstream from the Sturgeon, then to Temagami via Obabika Lake.

there is also the route from the sturgeon to temagami via manitou, wawiashkashi and gull lakes- nice but built up in spots (lodges, cottages).
