Hi We'll be visiting Temagami for the first time in early August. I'm looking for a non-white water canoe route suggestions for 4/5 nights. Ideally, a combination of smaller lakes/inlets and rivers, with daily travel distance ~ 5-6 hours. Portages are fine, but would like to limit a number of them, and the length - below 1km each. A non-loop route is OK, but not preferable. We are relatively experienced back-country travelers - Algonquin, mainly. There are 2 of us. We are planning to spend 2/3 days before the trip car camping with our friends, who is not canoeing. We'll be renting a canoe. Thank you. |
