We are thinking of going to Obabika on said weekend, will it be fairly quiet out there or can we expect it to be busy. Chance of getting camping spots, will we be Ok. Any info would help. We did the trip last year in early June and were the only ones on the lake

Also looking at Aug 20-21, this weekend is better for our group, more of us could go. |

If the north end is busy, there are lots of sites south of the narrows. Sites on the lake above the Obabika R require a permit. |

Hard to say. Throw an axe and see if it sticks. |

Spent 10 days on Temagami from the 26th to the 4th of July, before heading home for our daughter's Sarcoma surgery. Haven't seen it so quiet up there.. ever! |

Very quiet on Obabika last week. I saw 20 canoes all week and they were from canoe camps and were just passing through. Gave some chocolate cheesecake to one group when they stopped for water at Ranger Point. Hungry boys!!! |
