Is it possible to launch a boat at Mowat landing and travel through Lady Evelyn into Diamond lake? Is it permitted?
I had a great time this past fall canoeing and portaging through there and the fishing (from shore) was excellent. However, I'm not a big fan of fishing from a canoe. I did see boats on both lakes so I'm curious. |

Yes, boats are allowed on Lady Evelyn. |

So. . . . no portages from Mowat landing all the way down to Diamond? |

You will need to hire the Mitchell's to take you around Matawabika Dam and you will have a portage/drag into Diamond (if you boat is small enough). |

I think they only charge $20 or something minimal to load you on their multi bunk trailer and take you up over the dam. |
