Canoe Trip July 3 July 11
This year I am planning a canoe trip for people that wish to see the Old Growth Forest in Temagami. We will have a base camp on Obabika Lake and from there we will do day trips to the Wakimika Trails (Old Growth Forest trail at the north end of Obabika, Spirit Forest, the Spirit Rock). A two (2) day trip down the Obabika River and back to base camp and a two day trip to the rock paintings on Diamond Lake and more. This trip will be good for novice and experienced canoeist that want to learn about the Old Growth White and Red Pine. You will also be visiting with Alex Mathias, an Ojibway Elder and local icon who lives on Obabika Lake.
Anyone interested can contact me for further info by e-mail, bsuabill@netscape.net
Bill

Hey Bill could you send me the itinerary as well. I don't know if I can make it but I've always wanted to visit those spots. Thanks.

In some of your posts you appear to be a stereotypical hillbilly while at other times you don't!!
