Thanks for the site, it's great! Like lots of other people, I'm looking for a short weekend loop (or there-and-back) trip for my four-woman group that will get us away from noisy machines and partyers. We also can't do really long portages for mobility reasons. We'd be into either camping in a different spot each night or finding a peaceful place to hang out for a few. Good fishing is not on the agenda! I've never been to Temagami, but have had it on the "list" for a long time--any suggestions re good trips would be much appreciated. Sarah |

Sarah: When were you thinking of going? Why not join us on Obabika for the Changing of the Seasons Ceremony in mid September? Go to: http://www.ottertooth.com/Temagami/News/newsbriefs-055.htm |

Unfortunately, we've picked an earlier date, although that sounds like a great event. We're going Sat-Tues in the last weekend in August (hopefully staying into the week will diminish the crowds somewhat). |

Sarah; Did you and your friends pick a route or are you still looking for one? |

Thanks for checking--after some negotiation we're probably going to do something further south (we're driving from Toronto) and save Temagami for a longer trip. I'm leaning towards the Moon River. Sarah |
