Hi every one. I'm looking for a place that I may rent 2 canoes from, near Obabika Gate. Aswell I am looking for the closest place to the gate to pick up our permits. thanks hikerchris |

I think the nearest canoe rental places would be either Temagami or a bit East of North Bay as you come up #11.As far as I know there are no rentals available in the Sturgeon Falls Area before you get onto the #805.
As far as permits are concerned go to:

for a list of vendors, including one in Sturgeon Falls, or order it directly from Finlayson Park Office by calling 705-569-3205 and paying for it with your Visa or MC in time for them to mail it to your home address. |
