Just heard from Photo Metro...they will need to order in the plastic laminate in that size and should have it by the end of next week (May 4th). I should have mentioned too that their machine fits 42" width...exactly the same as the map. As they need some border for the laminate, I had to trim the map. I cut it to 41" so the half inch on each side will be plenty for them. I cut it right along the (and forgive my highly technical cartographic lingo here)...those numerical thing-a-mabobs on the outside that all start with "5". I suggest doing the same before bringing it in. Mark |

Thanks maramar. I took my copy into Ricci's Printing today to ask what it would cost to mount it on foam board. This would make carting it around in my car difficult, but I want to hang it on the wall. I'll probably have another laminated and rolled for taking to events. And I'm thinking of a 3rd cut into 8.5x11 and laminated. This way I can take just the parts I need on trip. I had Craig's map Plak-It'd. That cost over $100 and it's heavy. |

I had the map laminated, full size for $40 at Staples (next day), Donny has this with him for tracking our search areas planned/completed. I need another map, asked Adventure Guide in Waterloo, who is going to check with the purchasing manager about ordering some. |

Staples was my first choice too but the one here in North Bay could not do that size. Curly, Photo Metro has the laminate so I will bring mine in today. |

Just got my map back from Photo Metro. Some slight creasing on one side but overall, I'm happy with it. |
