Preparing for my first trip to the Temagami area. We are planning on doing an out and back from the Monteal R. to Scarecrow L. around Labor Day. I would appreciate any general advice on the route in general (camp sites, portages etc..)
In addition, I had some questions on fishing. I've seen discussions on McCullogh and Scarecrow, are the Montreal R., Lady Dufferin, Smoothwater and Apex lakes worth fishing or should we keep paddling to McCullogh and Scarecrow?
Any advice is much appreciated. |
