Posted: Sat Aug 18, 2007 10:23 am Post subject: Unmapped POI's for maple Mountain route?
Anyone have any specific details of Points of Interest on the Maple Mountain loop? I will be traveling from Mowatt's Landing, into the Lady Evelyn lakes, Sucket Gut, Hobart, Tupper, etc and the Mountain, and back again.
I am looking for any notes on abandoned cabins, mines, cold springs, First Nation items, and the like. GPS co-ords are good too.
I am taking 8 days to do this so will have time for exploration.

Ned - how ironic - as you were posting we were leaving for the exact same trip!
Not sure if you've been and gone, but I do have GPS co-ords for campsites and Maple Mountain Trailhead and top of trail, for the POI you really should see Hap's book.

We were there from Aug 29-Sep 3. Perhaps the GPS co-ords for next year's trip?
