I am planning a canoe trip to Lake Superior Provincial Park. I will be starting in Mijinemungshing and traveling through Old Woman Lake ending up in the Sand River.
Does anyone have information on fishing these waters. Things such as common species, and abundance of fish will be greatly appreciated. A couple of years ago I took a trip to Quetico and could count on eating fish everyday. I was wondering if the same was true in this region.

Thanks for the reply.
I visity Lake Superior PP this past summer. I stayed at the Agawa Bay Campground for a few days. I was able to get out on Lake Mijinemungshing for a day. The paddling was great. I saw a few canoes fishing too. I hear Lake Trout and Brook Trout are the most abundant. What types of tackle do most people use? Any info you have would be great.
