I would like to do the entire river from Pickle Lake to The Bay. Any advice on how long and water levels in August (Typical I know as every year changes)

Please and thanks

From what I have been reading... many of the southern rivers leading to James Bay have been very low... unless there are torrential rains between now and August, I can only imagie the water levels will drop even more. However, I cannot say for sure about the Albany.

I'd allow 4 to 5 weeks and the water levels should be fine. This is a very large river and with plenty of volume. You may encounter occasional rock garden but generally, it isa doable. Let's get Ed to comment on this.
