I'm debating finally buying a canoe, but don't really know what to look for. Something cheapish in price, but still of good quality..light-weight..

Thinking of hitting up the Toronto Sportsman Show and/or Outdoor Adventure Show this month to see what's there as well. Any tips on make and such?

I don't know what's out there these days, but you want a "Prospector" style for Temagami. Assuming they still make it, the "Wilderness" model by Mid-Canada Fibreglass (Scott Canoe) is a good all-arounder and not too pricey especially if you can find a decent used one.
