I updated and saved my profile by adding a small picture (80x60 size) and even after saving and redoing it three times (and closing the browser) it does not show up under my name at left.
This picture was cropped and resized from a rather large image my brother took this past Saturday Oct. 23.2004. here is the original image (but reduced to 600x450):

But ... I can't open up the box containing the larger image in you post.
Brian is away right now, so you may have to wait and ask him what the problem might be.

It may have to do with the way I wrote the syntax
( was the instruction in Help, but it did not turn out so. |

Otter_mel, your avatar is on my screen. That indicates the problem is not with the forum software but at your end.
It could be a number of things from your browser to firewall to virus software. |
