As some of you may already know, my sweet wife Olinda passed away from cancer on April 25.2009 at too young an age of 50. I will miss her terribly.

Mel I just saw this now. I had no idea. What a beautiful photo. I remember how hard it was for my Mom in the months after Dad passed away. He was sick for a long time before his death. I hope you are still hanging in there and just wanted you to know Bryan and I are thinking of you. I think your idea of the offering is a beautiful one. |

"Death Be At Our Doorstep Too" 'Tis time fer whole family to gather round await forcast & make-ready to get outfitted so to plan + arrange Him room to den-up-in, tha deep freeze. Be a gloom + doom of dismal event when death intrudes with a lingeren effect. Be fer sur, inevitable, accelerated & swift. Be an unexpected Christmas Greeten Time Gift of dreadful, horrible, sensitive news. Death be relentless + painful, but its tha fear of it, by far, be much harsh & worse. Death be tha cure of an incurable disease that hovers over & never leaves. Be especially rude & crude trespassen thru any Holiday Season fer any-1. We feel tha pain fer all who have experienced bad times, at 'tis time of year. Be an emotional time fer all involved. Not to diminish tha cheers & joys of tha Holiday Spirit. Its tha time fer celebration, when family & close friends gather round, bring warmth & reconnect, as well as, recollect tha good old past. When yer time is up, U can't escape into tha remote from tha mortal breath of death. To rendezous with tha ill winter chill howlen wind of death, everythin comes to halted end, be arrest. But when spring arrives it brings with it, wild flowers, blue days, warm quiet waters & a fair ill. My wife, Renee's, Dad past away Wednesday night. He'll be in deep winter sleep fer all eternity. He's at rest now & free from stomach cancer's bitten pain & we must continue on, to go on to face our own fate, in darks worth & all its dimensions. It was our turn,'tis time around, Heya! |
