Greenpeace Forest Defenders Organizing Meeting

Ancient forests are not disposable! Organize to stop Kimberly-Clark and Kleenex from destroying Canada’s ancient Boreal forest to make products that are used once and then thrown away.
Come out to an organizing meeting on Tuesday, June 21st to learn about Canada’s Boreal forest and the threats it faces, then turn that knowledge to action as you organize with others from Toronto and the GTA to take down Kimberly-Clark.
Kimberly-Clark, the largest tissue product manufacturer in the world, makes Kleenex brand facial tissue and other disposable tissue products out of clearcut ancient forests like Canada’s Boreal. Because of this company, ancient forests are literally being flushed down the toilet. This has to stop.
Whether you’re already involved in this campaign or are new to the scene, this meeting is the place to learn more about Kimberly-Clark and the Boreal, meet other forest defenders, and start taking action. There are exciting events and opportunities coming up over the summer and fall, so please come out and get plugged in.

"Wyomen, forever west"
Wher tha "old west" type reasonen be on go-en
epidemic, tenden to spread deadly.
Wyoming's 97,914 square miles of land hold so dear. Wher only 493,782 cowboys & Indians dwell.
Ample earth grounds of fruitfulness in abundance
fer wyomen & wild beasts alike.
Nature's truth thou gives to each be much "equality", 'tis right from tha horses mouth motto be.
These here wyomen wanna round-up & eradicate to
eliminate 200 out of 300 wolves from ther lands under ther big skies country.
How do crazy people go thru tha forest;
they take tha psycho path.
If 1 howls out-loud with tha wolves, they will
howl back too U & be acquainted.
If 1 chooses not to call-out U will not be informed. Not be versed in understanden of tha
appreciation of tha symbol of tha wild be a target to fear.
What 1 fears, 1 will sooner/or later, destroy.
Wyomen, wher men be men & tha poor sheep run
silently scared round bout "Broke-back Mountain".
Ther state flag be soiled with much blood red west.
Hang it high cowboys, Heya!
