'Tis summers end brings bout much color
shades & tones cum "autumn fall"
Up-round NE waters woods.
Autumn be time of al-ready ripened
then to droop & leaf fall to tha earth,
in which it came.
Don't much recollect 'tis past warmest
part of year, that never took-firm-hold.
Rained on summer 'twas never tha season of satisfen carry-out. 'Twas gone to wind/or wave.
To no that "Deer Tess" is up & about in our proximity may enliven & brighten-up rest of year.
Try to cope with change with a care-free out-look.
Nothen stays tha same, always be-en altered.
Roam wild & free like tha Black Bear, that

Hey Paul,
Member that brand new SLR camera I bought
thru tha mail, well I sent it back as soon as
I got back from 1st fall trip. I only shot 3 rolls of film & parts on it came un-glued.
I guess tha spindle that U insert tha roll of film onto inside tha camera came off & small sping inside shot out. Spent an hour tryen to find silver spring on round granit gray Canadian rock. Wife keen Indian eye spotted it by sum
Jack-Pine needles. Was taken snap shots of
2 Bear cubs up-a-tree. Felt like fer real
pro-photo guy with all tha long zoom lenses & all. But in reality, I'm gust a P&S type guy.
As a precaution, I bought a cheap point & shoot
camera as a back-up. Good thing, Heya!

My wife and I are taking only point & shoot disposable cameras to DC.
Our P&S won us an all expenses paid trip for four to Glacier Park a few years ago.
Long live the P&S!

wood be tree limb camp light, I opt fer use on
wild-trek canoe & snowshoe trips.
Filled with citronella sented lamp oil, tends
to keep bugs at-bay while illuminaten sum soft light. Portable, light-weight, easy & simple
to set-alight to/or to settle on to make light.
A camp-fire & RxR Lantern makes fer a well-lit
backwoods encampment, Heya!

Yes canoebear - there is nothing like the soft glow from an oil or parafin lantern.
We use a lantern inside with a thin wick filled with an ultra-pure liquid parafin. One must be carefull for the parafin is very flamable.

I posted the beginning of one letter recently on the MEMOIRS thread and am going to incorporate it and others in a story for Dough McKown's new book.
At this time I am very busy working to get my Cheyenne friend's art into the new National Museum of the American Indian - letter writing, photo taking, etc.
I do hope to do more with the letters.

Much of 'tis Wild Place be visited only by tha
woodland creatures like Black Bears, moose, wolves & otters that inhabit them.
These here regions stay alive & survive cause
no foot paths lead to them + most adventurers
woodn't no wher they R.
'Tis "extra special wild spot" be important cause
it be different from what be commen/or usual &
be distinct from all others maken it unique.
Intended fer a special canoe camp outings/or specific purpose like wilderness backpacken.
What wood-be needed to cum cross/or locate hard to find spots R tools of an adventurer explorers trade. List of objects, gadgets, impliments,
machinery, utensils to find 1's way in-short-order R, sum common sense, hav direct control managed, hav total awareness, wisdom no-how,
gots to hav sum skill gotten thru practiced lived thru, seasoned-up, up-to tha-mark shape, all sorts of maps & most chief carren-in a compass/or 2 be packed-in.
Once core seek-out spots be discovered ,
tha wanderer who explores 'tis Wild Indian Country be much grateful & thankful fer maken it
all-tha-way ther in the mix of tha beauty of it all.
'Tis gorgeous outdoors, not to be affected by tha look at, wrist timepiece watch, Heya!

Hey Paul,
'Twas down & out, but back in tha game agin.
Rang-up tha charge bill once more!
Wal-Mart, 1 Hour Photo, had a clearance on new
Nikon 70mm-300mm zoom G lenses fer $50.00.
I purchased 2 of them. Tha next day went to see
my good pal, who be a store manager at Best Buy.
Gave me a hall of a deal on 2 Nikon N55 35mm SLR cameras. He knocked $20.00 off on each brand new camera, with mail $ coupons to boot.
In exchange needed sum Bear pictures fer his
young sons bed room. I got a bunch to choose from.
I then ordered on-line a couple of Nikon gadget bags with Nikon coupons, UV filters & How to Photograph, book inside. 'Tis be a package special
order deal, I got fer $29.00 a bag + shippen x 2.
With these here coupons, I'll buy a 58mm, 62mm circular polorized filters + extra batteries, 400 speed film & tri-pode. Later on, may go in dept sum more with a flash kit.
Back on top agin. I'm a fer-real Photo Guy now.
I gots a good back-up system with 2 SLR camera
set-ups + a cheap P&S 35mm Minolta 130mm zoom lense camera fer emergency use only.
Once I sort it all out in how to make use of
operation & such, I'll be 1 to be reckon with.
I give fare warnen to cougars & mountain lions
alike, that yer in my target sights now.
Ther be no cause fer slip-ups, blunders/or let-off
of more excuses of missed wild cat shot any more.
I'll hav too deliver tha arrow to cat target.

Fer yer Canon Rebel 2000,
U need a 70mm-to-300mm Canon/or Sigma 3rd party lense. Nikor lenses won't fit on Canon SLR cameras. Circuit City Stores had yer Canon zoom lense fer $200.00 $ that be tha cheapest around.
I bought 2 Slr cameras & lenses fer both.
2 camera kit systems, a back-up system,
be an insurance system. I've had bad luck in
tha camera department. 'Tis be a confident/or
favorable system, be fool proof design,
that I thought-up.
Agin "what if" must always be factored in,
cause, 1 never no's, Heya! |
