Would you agree that, now that they have been perfected, cell and satelite phones should be mandatory equipment on all trips where there are trip leaders responsible for others?

Sat. phones are relativley cheap to rent.
A place in Guelph rents them for $65.00 a week and $2.00 per minute.

That looks like it is cheaper than the guy in Ottawa who had a post on CCR advertising rentals for about $100/week. I wonder if that was a commercial rate you got from them?
