Just saw this website and it brought back memories of my time in what was then Frobisher Bay. I'm just touching base here. I've lived in Australia for the last 34 years. That's all for now.-Ron Price, Tasmania.

I landed in Frobisher Bay in September 86'. Spent the next 14 yrs travelling the arctic to almost all the communities, parks etc. Have hunted, fished and travelled with the people of the land wherever I went. After a short stint back south and 18 months on Sahkalin Island, Russia, I am happy to say I am back up north.
Spent last winter on the extension of the Dempster hwy. to Tuktoyaktuk and the Beaufort Sea and this summer in the Richardson Mtns on a hwy widening project. Will be heading back to Tuk for the winter.
My summers on Lake Temagami canoeing and camping(and a whole lot of other fun things) no doubt gave me the sense of adventure and confidence to pursue such a career. Getting back to "the lake" is my time south and is cherished dearly. Glad I found this site. Great place to spent some arctic hrs.

Nice shots. I was 4 months old in June of 1968.

In the end all we really have are memories.
