Search Update, Day 8 Guys arrived home by 5pm yesterday, safe and sound. Although some cold and wet weather, they did search part of the ridge, no signs of Daniel.
We will be watching for better weather before resuming our next search up there. "Thanks" to Charlie and Mike for generously giving a week of your time to search for Daniel. Also, we appreciate the assistance of Todd, Jim and Kevin. |

Update 19 months: Today (Fri. June 7) is Daniel's 30th Birthday, and he has been missing for 19 months, that's 83 weeks! He was born in 1983, matching these numbers ... go figure. We thank the Ottertooth community for your continued friendship, support and assistance. We are planning our next trip up north for June 24-28, more to follow. "Thanks" to Rick L. for your generosity in assisting our search efforts! Birthday candle for Daniel, XOXO |

I will also be in the area fishing, canoeing and hiking Lady Evelyn, Diamond, Hobart, South Branch of LE River and North Branch LE Frank's Falls and up to Center Falls. I will keep an eye open for clothing. Last trip up was in June 2011. Please post GPS cordinates where items were found and places searched. I will enter into my iphone to know where to look or not look. What kind of Canoe was he using? |

June Search Update, Day 1 Today was a travel day. I just got a call saying they are settled in and all is well (Don, Adam, Tom and Ken). There were signs of a bear having been at the cabin but no break in. Searching is planned for Tues.-Thurs. and then returning home on Friday so firefighters are back in time for their shift. It's certainly warmer this time, beautiful super moon, and praying they find something. moose: If you are in the area, stop to meet them in person; they have a red Old Town canoe and small green boat. fabjr71: The GPS coordinates of where Daniel's winter clothing was found are: Jacket/Scarf: UTM 17T-0558903 5230670 Lat/Long 47.22687498840991, -80.22191968646747 Snow Pants: UTM 17T-0558874 5230717 Lat/Long 47.22730047503165, -80.22229654059095 These are on the updated flyer along with the areas searched by year. Daniel did not take a canoe with him, so he was likely walking. The NE arm is our focus, but anything found anywhere up there, should be reported. In addition to the items on the flyer, there would be Daniel's wallet, keys, and possibly a large kitchen (butcher) knife. |

June Search Update, Day 3 Finally got a call, the weather cooperated for searching, but mosquitos are out in full force. Searched in the bush east of where Daniel's clothing was found, and where the little lake is, no signs. |
