Hector Green (left), 90, and Brian Back on the dining hall porch. Hector is a member of one of the First Families of guides. He guided at Ojibway from 1931 to 1938 and is the younger brother of Francis, son of Frank and nephew of Jack. Before guiding he spent his summers with his family on the island and at Green's Point. There I am, pencil in hand, ready to record Hector's memories. Fred Reimers said, "Brian, don't you ever stop working?" — Brian Back |
