The section arrived at the waterfront of the Lac Brochet community (a Dene reserve known locally as "Lac") just as the Canada Day parade was passing. "The parade was going on the whole time we were there," said Dave, "mostly kids and women. They just kept going round and round, honking horns and waving flags."
