I was there in 2018 and the portage was in good condition. There is a clear path with limited blow downs.
With that said getting through Friday creek is not so straight forward and requires a "bushwack" through the marsh near the end of the creek. I've provided more detail in a previous post but essentially where the creek dried up we portaged from the center of the creek through the marsh in a westerly direction for about 300 meters where we found the creek again. From here its about 500-800 meters until you hit the portage. |
