Hello, my husband and I have loved canoeing in the Temagami area for a very long time, except for the past five years or so, as it is now very important that I be able to contact my 91-year-old mother on a cellular phone. According to Bell mobility I would have cell coverage in the east lady Evelyn lLake conservation reserve area which is our favorite campsites near Ellen island camp. The last time we were there we did not have cell coverage even though our provider said we did. I feel a very strongly in my bones that I need to go back there this August, but I can’t unless I’m sure I have cell coverage, so can anyone let me know if they have been able to use their phone in that area? |

I, too, am skeptical of coverage there. Have you considered using an Inreach Explorer? You would be able to communicate by text or email. |
