Does the access point on the south end of matagamasi have parking and are there any launch and parking fees?

There's free parking and public launch at the end of Matag road, but it's limited (may be enough for 8-12 cars) and in high season it could be a problem.

The Sportsman’s Lodge used to offer parking and a shuttle over to Matag. Not sure if the new owner is continuing that service (maybe give them a call?) Obviously there would be fees involved with that but it eliminates the worry of parking space and vehicle security if those are concerns for the OP.

2 vehicles, July 1-5th and we would pay what ever it takes to continue support for taking care of the area. Thanks Eddy

I'd rather support FOT - they do a really important job in the area.

Not sure what has happened to FoT. They have been totally absent from the Wolf Lake issue for the past two years.
Meanwhile, the prospectors have been making new roads, cutting old trees, dumping waste water from drills into waterways…
See the new thread on Wolf Lake for a map and photos.
