Tess...canoebear is healing his wounds in " The Silence Of The North ".
He was hurt that all his wonderful posts were completely erased with no warning.
If anyone saved any of them, a re-read will reveal much wisdom and interests perhaps missed on first reading.
I deem it one of my greatest ' northwoods ' pleasures to have shared with canoebear on the old board.
I miss canoebear on the board too Tess.
Perhaps we need to focus on the new boards possibilities. I don't believe we will reach the ' heights ' and ' depths ' of the old anonymous board.

Sometimes it would take me a day or 2 of re-reading his posts to figure out what the hell he was trying to say. It was always worth it though.
I miss his posts as well. I hope he heals himself up good as new and comes on back.

I will try to make a difference in quality/or measure.
Tribute should be paid to tha guys who organized,
& monitored, on ther own time, tha old/new forums,
fer our back seat enjoyment, of tha freedom of tha 4 season winds. That be U Brian & clan.
When looken fer expert guide who be seasoned by tha elements, who solos in the wilderness on his own, hillbilly should be tha 1 elevated in status.
But when erecting tha "Ojibwa Ototeman",
His totem, make sure that tha water symbol that carved way-on-top be 1
"Painted Turtle of tha Mistissibi"
fer He be tha fer real hero/legend of His & our time. For He be tha 1 who birch canoed paddled
that remote river which still runs wild in tha far north.
Mohawk wife's symbol of Turtle denotes migration, strength, long life, perserverance, may defy death & also be an annoyance to coyote. Tha Turtle is tha oldest Native Indian symbol.
"Tha Turtle No's Best & Still Tha Turtle Watched"!

Color of blue on a clear daylight sky can be seen at a far distance.
Blue spruce be 1 of my favorites type of trees.
Ther be a big blue whale thought to tha largest liven animal on "Mothers Earth".
Blue berries R like huckleberries which tha Black Bears if given tha chance wood eat-em all up.
Then thers the blue bird, which a guy like Paul wood like to watch.
I been long-gone fer a period of a blue moon, had to sort things out. Missed U-all had tha blues.
American union soldiers wore blue uniforms during tha Civil War.
I betcha alscool could probably play tha blues.
Hillbilly wears a par of blue denim blue jeans.
Kanutripper can use a blue hat on a clear blue day. Looks like Ed's scarf may hav a shade of blue in it.
Blue often be linked with issues of tha spirit &
intellect. Color of much sky & heaven, also hav
strong connection with nearly all flows of rivers/lakes northern waters & fer 'tis reason,
tha color blue have feminine, cool reflective qualities like U deer Tess. Blue sure be true blue & transparency. It be connected to loyalty,
opps fidelity, constancy, & chastity.
Many born blued-eyed babes show thru ther
purity of innocence. A blue stocken woman with
a blue streak wood give cause too blue nose guy.
'Tis Tess, 1 that reaps/or harvests to gain as a reward may witness blue thunder. Heya! |

"out of the blue" is out of the world or perhaps, the opposite, "out of the blue" is of this world, intensely...(like you)
I really enjoy your prose and poetry. I especially love the way you craft your thoughts to words. I feel as if I know you from somewhere?
I am mercurius and I am air. Mutable and malleable. This late May will add to who I am, one more year...And yes, I reap in the fall what I sow in the spring. True to my namesake.
