Front row: Ari Bensimhon, John Frazier, Wus (John's dog), Mike Hunt, Chris Russoniello, Nate "Weirdo" Beck, Jeff Tanz. In foreground are caribou antlers. Pat and Ari are holding Inuit harpoons from Kuujjuarapik. Cree bear paw snowshoes from Whapmagoostui are in the far-left foreground. One of the nicest parts of the Coats was the solitude. It was not as spectacular as Richmond Gulf last year, but overall the trip was more consistently enjoyable than either of the last two years.
